Rotary in the district needed a place to build such a large annex, a place that provided access to power tools and building knowledge, luckily the Rotary Club of Surfers Sunrise has the Rotary Project Shed up in Arundel on the Gold Coast.

When the Rotary Project Shed isn't being used to build the annex for the Mauna Health Centre, it is being used to build wheelchairs.

The Surfers Sunrise Wheelchair Trust over the last 30 years has build over 10,000 wheelchairs for children and adults in need.
